The Alberta Assessment Consortium is pleased to announce the secondment of John Scammell as a member of the AAC Field Services team. John has over twenty years of experience in high school mathematics, teaching in both rural and urban settings, as well as leadership experience as department head and most recently as a consultant with Edmonton Public Schools.

This secondment position is made possible through a grant from Alberta Education to support classroom assessment practices within the high school context. John will be working in a coaching role with communities of practice in northern Alberta. Details of the project will be highlighted on the website under the Projects and Grants tab.
