The Alberta Assessment Consortium (AAC) is expanding its base of professional field services support. Two part-time (0.5 FTE each) secondment positions have been created on a pilot basis for the 2009-2010 school year. These secondment positions are geographically based, one to provide support to the three northern regions and one serving the three southern regions in Alberta.

The AAC Field Services Facilitators will report to the AAC Executive Director and work closely with the AAC Assessment Consultant. Field Services Facilitators will form an important liaison function - not just with member jurisdictions, but also with education partners such as ATA, Alberta Education, ARPDC, CASS, etc.
